Its main source of revenue however is advertising. It uses the data gathered from most of these services to profile the interests of web users and sell advertising space to organisations based on such interest profiles as well as aligning adverts to the content on the pages where its customer's adverts appear. _GA, _GAT, _GID: Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Through the use of a tracking code embedded into web pages, Google Analytics collects data about user interactions with the website, such as page views, session duration, and bounce rate to provide insights into user behaviour, helping website owners optimise their online presence. SESSIONID: Microsoft Teams is a collaboration platform developed by Microsoft, designed to facilitate communication and teamwork within organisations. Teams allows users to chat, meet, call, and collaborate in real-time, bringing together various tools and features under one unified interface. This cookie identifies a user’s unique session for login, authentication, and data purposes.
